Editorial design
Decosan is a brand with more than 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of bathroom furniture and products.
The new branding allowed Decosan to take a qualitative leap forward, positioning itself as a benchmark brand in design, effectively transmitting its passion for beauty and trends while presenting a whole new bathroom concept.
Decosan is a second-generation family business located in Barcelona. It has its own production plant where they develop all their creations, one by one.
Despite being a consolidated, well-positioned brand in the sector and having not only a clear expansion strategy but also the freshness of a new generation at the helm, Decosan needed to update its corporate identity in line with its business situation and position itself in the sector as an aspirational design brand.
Thanks to collaborative work between Decosan and Eliptic, we were able to define the brand values, the company’s mission and a new approach to the corporate image. The logo was redesigned using a geometric typography, with balanced, simple and timeless shapes that transmit precision and modernity, framing the entire image to give it greater impact.
In addition, a new functional yet premium colour range was selected for the design of corporate stationery, sample books and communication materials.
Redefining a new bathroom concept
To express Decosan’s brand values and to show the bathrooms in attractive settings that highlighted good design, our art director started from an introspective, very personal concept.
We created a new, more aspirational claim – Bath Inspiration – with new storytelling that defined a whole new concept in bathrooms.
Editorial design
Analysing their relationship with the professional channel, we concluded that their strategy and new identity should reflect their origin as manufacturers and the balance between a more personal, emotional communication and a technical and professional one.
We conceptualised and developed the catalogue’s editorial design, portraying their bathroom collections’ multiple customisation options as well as their adaptability to all types of environments, while transmitting their corporate values.
We provided an optimal categorisation of the collections and their products, combining art direction, technical information and descriptions.
In addition to the concept, structure and design, we also defined its production format and finishes.
