The annual report of the CZFB (Consorci Zona Franca Barcelona) was one of those projects that starts with a crazy idea and ends up on the front page (literally). We wanted impact, we wanted it to speak for itself and we wanted a design that felt as human as the goals it represented. <\/p>

<\/p>

Thus the cover: naked bodies embracing each other, forming a world of skin and blue tones. Continents and oceans that looked at you from the first page to remind you that we are all in this together. Complicated? Very. But, when you are a slave to your own ideas, you know it’s worth it. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The CZFB is an entity with more than 100 years of history. In addition to managing the Zona Franca industrial estate and its customs area, it also promotes a multitude of projects in other parts of the city and the metropolitan area, always in connection with highly innovative, value-added activities. It is home to more than 330 companies that contribute \u20ac9.112 billion to GDP. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Every year, the CZFB publishes its annual report, not only to render accounts and as a commitment to transparency, but also as another opportunity to communicate its impact and contribution to society, all while attracting new companies.<\/p>


That’s why, when it entrusted us with the design and layout of the annual report, we approached the project from a creative and strategic standpoint. We worked to make the report an accessible and effective guide, with a modern image, underpinned by a solid narrative that would project its positioning. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The design conformed to the CZFB guidelines in terms of colours and typography, and the image was coherent with the rest of the organisation’s materials.<\/p>

<\/p>

To allow for easy reading and improve the reader’s experience, we incorporate indexed tabs in the publication, for quick and intuitive access to the document’s different sections.<\/p>

<\/p>
