Galan, a leading manufacturer of twisting and winding machinery for yarns, twines and ropes, wanted a boost to its brand identity to reflect its leading position in the sector. To achieve this, we developed a particular identity and style, modern and fresh, that represented the essence of the brand.
With a track record of over 80 years, Galan is renowned for innovation, reliability and the long life of its machines. Its new identity had to reflect its roots as a manufacturer and its sector expertise through technical and professional communication.
The logo has a solid foundation to work with, but we meticulously finessed it to redefine the proportions and correct the curves. Our objective was clear: we wanted to create a logo that projected modernity and professionalism, without losing the identity that clients already recognised.
In order to give the brand a technical edge, we established a chromatic palette where white, grey and black predominate.
The next challenge was to update the catalogues, key pieces in Galan’s communication. We analysed each one’s structure, looking to optimise on the presentation of its wide range of machinery. The process, although complex, allowed us to structure technical information in a clear and accessible way.
The design was clean and functional, with clear typography, proprietary iconography and striking covers. Every detail was thought out to convey the quality and precision that defines the brand.
This project helped us mark a before and after for Galan, aligning its visual identity with the innovation that characterises its products. For Eliptic, it was the opportunity to once again demonstrate our ability to transform ideas into tangible results, making a lasting impact on every brand we work with.
